Çoğu kişi “Acaba merdiven asansörünü oturduğum apartmana yaptırabilir miyim? Apartmanda sorun çıkar mı, komşular ne der izin verirler mi, yönetici ne der, belediyeden izin veya ruhsat almam gerekli mi?” diye kendi kendine veya çevresine sormuştur.
Sabırsız olanlar için işte bu sorunun kısa ve net cevabı: “Kanunen apartmanınıza merdiven asansörü yaptırabilirsiniz, bunun için kimseden izin almanıza gerek yok. Ancak asansörün bedelini apartman değil, siz ödersiniz.”
Şimdi bu cevabı biraz daha açalım.
Eğer oturduğunuz apartmana klasik tip apartman asansörü yaptırmak isteseydiniz siz veya tüm apartman, bunun için Kat Mülkiyet Kanunun ilgili maddeleri gereğince çoğunluğun verdiği karar uygulanacaktı.
